 1. What is CamShare? How much does it cost?
 
CamShare is a real-time two-way video-chat service with higher definition and larger video display, and greater interactivity, enabling you and other members are able to see each other. You can also send text and use add-on services, such as animated emoticons and voice message.

Sending a CamShare invitation to a member are free. Billing will start once they accept your invitation, or you accepts theirs. You can end the chat by closing the window or clicking on ‘End CamShare’. CamShare costs 0.6 credits per minute, or any part thereof. Click here to learn more about how CamShare works.

 
 
 2. What is the difference between CamShare and Chat?
 
Chat is a text-based chat service, while CamShare is video-based, although they both support text messaging. CamShare aims to help gentlemen establish a more intimate relationship, narrowing the distance between the two of you, increasing quicker mutual understanding. The main cost for using the service differs, but add-on services, such as Stickers, Animated Emotions, Voice Message and Photo, share the same cost.
 
 
 3. What other services can I use with CamShare? How much do they cost?
 
There are add-up services on CamShare such as Stickers, Animated Emoticons, Voice Message and Photo.

Stickers are cute emoticons. There are free stickers, and premium stickers which cost 0.1 credit each. Free stickers can be sent with text messages, while premium stickers are sent out as soon as you click on them.

Animated Emoticons are moving smiley faces available on CamShare. Sending one Animated Emoticon will cost you 0.2 credits, either during normal chat or free chat using a voucher. Animated Emoticons cannot be sent as invitation messages. You may send Animated Emoticons after a text-message chat is established between you and the other member.

Voice Messages are recordings you can make and send to the members as an extra option to text. Sending one Voice Message will cost you 0.3 extra credits during your CamShare session and each Voice Message can be up to 30 seconds long. Once the recording has reached 30 seconds, it will automatically be sent. Voice Messages cannot be sent as invitation messages – you must start CamShare first. Once a chat is initiated, you will be billed as normal for the CamShare service even if you only send voice messages, as Voice Message is a function of CamShare.

Photo is a function which allows members to send and receive high resolution photos instantly while chatting with other members. It costs 1.5 credits for each sent or viewed photo in addition to the normal CamShare fee, either during normal chat or free chat using a voucher. You can only send and receive photos after a chat has been established by text between you and the other members.

 
 
 
 4. Can I use CamShare if I don’t have a webcam installed?
 
Yes, you can use CamShare even if you don’t have a webcam installed. As long as the other members have enabled the CamShare service, you can send them an invitation. However, we recommend turning on your webcam for a more interactive experience.
 
 
 
 5. Does CamShare support real-time voice chat?
 
CamShare currently does not support real-time voice chat. However, we have a Voice Message function which you can use to send voice messages.
 
 
 
 6. Are there any regulations or restrictions when using CamShare?
 
The exchange of contact information on CamShare is prohibited. Also, the system will automatically filter or remove any obscene chat content. Please refer to our CamShare Policy for a full list of restrictions when using this service.
